Work in Estonia team members represented Estonia at the 2019 Emigration Expo, where Scandinavia was chosen as the host region this year.
Work in Estonia was present at the Emigration Expo 2019 in Utrecht, The Netherlands – which is the largest emigration industry fair held in Europe, with over 10,000 visitors each year. Since this was the first participation from Work in Estonia with a booth there, it was quite difficult to predict what would be the results.
Overall, around 600 people visited our booth and learned more about Estonia as a destination to relocate for working and living purposes. Moreover, the ICT specialists visiting our booth were introduced to specific job offers by the companies that wanted to explore the market in the Netherlands: Veriff, Guardtime, Pipedrive, Genius Sports and Malwarebytes. The visitors were also treated with some goodies and freebies from these companies as well.
The colleagues from EURES Estonia also attended the Emigration Expo and were situated just opposite to us, which made it easier to grab the attention of people.
One specialist to visit Tallinn!
As part of our presence at the Expo, we asked visitors to answer a small quiz about Estonian ICT sector facts in order to participate to win a trip to Estonia. The lucky winner of the trip was Ivan Padilla, an Electronics Engineer focused on IT-Applications and Consulting. So, we hope he enjoys it so he can also apply his professional knowledge in some company in Estonia 😉
