
UBS has listed the world cities for the average amount of paid vacation days. The workers in Estonia’s capital Tallinn have 30 paid vacation days per year on average, not including state and national holidays. This is four times as much as in Shanghai and three times more than in Beijing or Bangkok.
Compared to Estonia’s neighbours an average worker in Riga has 10 less paid vacation days, in Stockholm 5 less days and in Helsinki 1 less day. In Moscow there is one more paid vacation day per year on average than in Estonia.
At the top of the list stands Manama in Bahrein with 34 vacation days on average.
