Last week we hosted 23 preselected tech specialists from 4 different continents, 15 different countries in Tallinn as part of #careerhunt2018 campaign.
Head of the project, Kaisa-Triin Kosenkranius said that the candidates were positively surprised with Estonia. „Personally, it was so nice to see these 23 candidates, who we selected from out of 5,530 applications, enjoying their time in Tallinn to the fullest while gaining new knowledge and meeting so many new people. Most of the Career Hunt 2018 final candidates have already received job offers to come and work in Estonia. Estonia has a lot to offer with its innovative companies, advanced digital society and good working and living environment,” said the head of the project, Kaisa-Triin Kosenkranius.
We showed them the techy side of Estonia (thank you LIFT99co, Startup Estonia, e-Estonia Showroom, Robotex and cyber security professionals at CCDCOE). We took them to the Old Town with the amazing Traveller Toursand ended up in Humalakoda brewery. We baked our own pizzas at Proekspert, hiked in a bog (some people saw snow for the first time in their life) and had the best sauna experience in town in Rangi saun (thank you Adam and Anni).
And of course, the highlights of the visit for these candidates were the final round job interviews at 12 companies like Skype, Taxify, Axinom, Finestmedia, Global Gaming Group, Helmes, Nortal, Proekspert, Swedbank, Topia, Twilio and Veriff. The best ones have already received job offers, work continues.
Big kudos to everyone who has been involved in any sense, especially Ellen Eigi-Pankevičienė, Jobbatical , Age McCann Estonia, Vaas , Kommunikatsioonibüroo Hamburg & Partnerid, Visit Estonia, Visit Tallinn with their great teams, and kudos to colleagues at Enterprise Estonia.
