Business counselling  (45 min)  

The aim of the business consultation, provided by the City of Tallinn (Enterprise department), is to provide essential information regarding business environment in Estonia. We can help you with following topics:

 

  • • preparation of business plans and financial projections
  • • questions related to employment law
  • • information about starting or relocating your company to Estonia
  • • state business grants (startup grants provided by Enterprise Estonia and Estonian Unemployment Fund)

 

If your questions are related with e-residency or gaining a startup visa, we kindly ask you to contact directly with the service providers on the above-mentioned links.

Foreigner Spouse
Career counselling  (45 min)  

Career counselling, provided by Estonian Unemployment Insurance Fund, helps you make professional decisions and plan your career, when you have already relocated to Estonia. Counselling comprises topics related to studies, work and choosing a specialisation.

 

We’ll help you gain knowledge about Estonian labour market and provide you with tips on being more successful in your hunt for a job. We can review your CV and motivation letter together with you, or advise you on how to write these important documents.

Employer
Employee adaptation & language consultation  (30 min)  

This consultation will help you to gather information regarding relocation of your (future) foreign employee to Estonia. Topics which could be covered:

  • • Relocation services
  • • Language courses

Migration consultation for employers  (30 min)

This consultation will help you to understand what documents are needed for your (future) foreign employee and what administrative steps you shall take as employer.

Personal ID code  (30 min)

During this consultation you apply for a personal ID code. Service is provided by the City of Tallinn. Personal ID code is one the first things that one has to acquire when settling down in Estonia, regardless of the country of origin.

 

Documents you need when applying for ID code: EU citizens: valid ID card/passport; non-EU citizens: valid passport, residence permit

 

NB! It is possible to acquire your ID code and register your residence during the same consultation, but please make sure you bring all necessary documents for both steps.

Register your address in Tallinn (residence registration)  (30 min)

During this consultation we register your address in Tallinn. Service is provided by the City of Tallinn.

 

In order to register the address of residence, following documents are necessary:

  • • valid passport
    • Estonian ID code
    • rental contract on your name or house/flat owner’s signed approval

 

Every person residing on the Estonian territory has to register the address of residence, EU citizen have to do so within 3 months after arriving in Estonia. Citizens of other nationalities have to register after receiving their temporary residence permit and personal ID code.

 

As we are currently able to register only Tallinn addresses, in case you are living outside of the borders of Tallinn City, please contact your local municipality.

 

NB! It is possible to register your residence and acquire your ID code during the same consultation, but please make sure you bring all necessary documents for both steps.

Among documents that citizens of non-EU country need to get at first is a residence permit. Migration advisers from the Police and Border Guard Board offer counselling for the process of obtaining it as well as for extending it, but please note that you have to apply for residence permit and/or ID card at the Police and Border Guard Board office.

This consultation will help you to gather information regarding settling in of your (future) foreign employee in Estonia.

During this consultation, provided by Integration Foundation experts, you can get essential information regarding various topics related to your settling in Estonia. Please specify the area of your interest while booking the appointment.
